Registered Acupuncturist
ABOUT ME
I’m Alicia Lauriault, a Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) and the founder of Kawartha Holistic. With 10 years of clinical practice, I hold a Diploma in Acupuncture and Moxibustion from Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine (2016).
WHO I WORK WITH
Whether you’re a tradesperson pushing through a bad back, a retiree managing years of joint pain, or a woman navigating fertility and hormonal health — you’re in the right place.
Most of my patients come to me with persistent pain that hasn’t resolved — joint pain, nerve pain, and musculoskeletal concerns that have lingered for months or years. I also work with women seeking support for hormonal health and fertility.
MY APPROACH
Every treatment begins with understanding the full picture — not just where it hurts, but why.
Your first visit includes a detailed health history and functional assessment covering range of motion, strength, and the structures contributing to your symptoms. From there, I integrate Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern neuro-orthopedic techniques to address the root of your symptoms — not just where they’re felt.
ADVANCE TRAINING
My clinical training bridges classical acupuncture and modern neuroscience, driven by a belief that the most effective care draws from both the wisdom of Eastern medicine and the precision of contemporary anatomy and neurology.
Neuro-Meridian Integrative Acupuncture Diploma — Dr. Poney Chiang
I hold a Diploma in Neuro-Meridian Integrative Acupuncture under Dr. Poney Chiang, an internationally recognized authority in neuro-acupuncture. Through this training, I developed clinical approaches that integrate classical acupuncture knowledge with modern neuroanatomy to address neuromuscular pain and neurological conditions using techniques such as electro-neuromodulation and trigger point needling
Neuro-Orthopedic Acupuncture Diploma — ADAPT Acupuncture
I have completed a Neuro-Orthopedic Acupuncture Diploma with ADAPT Acupuncture, with additional training in orthopedic clinical assessment and motor point needling techniques
Medical Auriculotherapy Training — Dr. David Alimi
I am one of fewer than 50 practitioners in Canada trained in medical auriculotherapy under Dr. David Alimi, a French neurophysiologist and chronobiologist whose research helped establish the modern scientific foundation of auriculotherapy.
A PERSONAL NOTE
Having navigated my own health challenges, I bring personal understanding alongside clinical expertise to every patient I see. I’d love to help you find a way forward. Take advantage of our complimentary 20-minute consultation to discuss your concerns.

ABOUT ME
I’m Justin Street, a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and a proud member of the team at Kawartha Holistic. I graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Fleming College and am currently continuing my studies in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ontario Tech University.
SPECIAL INTERESTS
I have a particular focus on pain management and sports injuries, and bring a strong foundation in Swedish, deep tissue, and relaxation massage techniques to every treatment.
WHO I WORK WITH
Whether you’re an athlete recovering from a sports injury, someone managing chronic pain, or simply looking to restore balance and ease tension — you’re in the right place.
Most of my clients come to me seeking relief from muscular pain, tension, and the physical demands of an active or demanding lifestyle. I also work with clients looking for therapeutic relaxation and stress management support.
MY APPROACH
Every treatment begins with a thorough assessment to understand not just where you’re experiencing discomfort, but what’s driving it.
I recognize that every client’s wellness requires a unique approach. Based on my assessments, I build personalized treatment plans that draw on a range of massage techniques — adapting to each stage of your recovery or wellness journey. I believe that clear communication is central to care, ensuring you understand what you can do to support your own healing between sessions.
A PERSONAL NOTE
I’m a devoted father to my 11-year-old son and a caring owner of Hank, our 5-year-old rescue dog. Together, we enjoy camping in the Ontario backcountry and star-watching.
